Hello!

I am Megan Rinehart, a graphic designer from Southern Indiana. My expertise is within marketing, branding, digital, and print design.  My passion for design began 5+ years ago when I was only a junior in high school. Since, it has become a part of my everyday life. Other than design I also enjoy doing portrait photography. Read below to learn more about who I am as a designer and what motivates me.

I am a graphic designer. Now that term can mean many things. According to Oxford Language’s definition that means “a person who combines text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books.” To me, it is much more than that. Graphic design is a form of artistic communication through typography, photography, color, and other supporting elements. The challenge of problem-solving to find the right combination of elements to communicate the

targeted message drives me. My goal is to make communication between businesses and their customers more effective through branding and marketing materials.

One of my biggest inspirations is Paul Rand and the way he creates brand identities and merges copy within his designs. The inspiration for my work is derived from his modernist style of design and is shifted to my unique aura. My designs prioritize clarity, precision, and simplicity like modern design, but I also include a sense of depth through layering elements. This has driven me to create designs that can effectively communicate through implicit messages. Each design I make has the goal of catching the target audience’s attention and creating brand awareness or driving sales. I explore different combinations of design elements until I come up with the perfect solution to communicate the message of the brand that I am working with. I want each customer to feel like they are getting a quality product or service from a quality brand.

Over the past 5+ years in my experience as a graphic designer, I have learned a lot of valuable knowledge through clients. Each detail matters within a design. Even the smallest of details like a line or bullet point can help position the message just right to create the desired outcome. I work collaboratively with all my clients to get the best understanding of their brand. I can bring a new perspective to a brand with the consistent research I am doing to stay up to date on recent trends. Times are changing fast, and your business should be evolving with it.
